Mercedes Yolanda Cooper's first production experiences came from assisting with her family's event planning business as a teenager. After college, she coordinated national workshops for a journalism association while freelancing as a scriptwriter and technical director for
non-profit organizations. Mercedes has written, produced and directed three narrative shorts and is developing her next project. Mercedes is an MFA candidate at Columbia College Chicago in the film & video production program. She holds a BA degree in economics with a concentration in Brazilian studies from University of Maryland College Park. |
